The Fine Print
DroneZone Michiana (DZM) is fully FAA compliant. DZM will only fly where government regulations allow, in accordance with known FAA restrictions.
DZM operates a 249 g DJI Mavic Mini Quadcopter, which does not require a certification license to fly.
DZM will not fly in unsafe weather conditions, including but not limited to: consistent wind speeds over 20 miles per hour, excessive moisture or fog,
low visibility, or precipitation.
DZM will not schedule any bookings or fly at night, or if there is insufficient light.
DZM will not fly within 5 miles of an airport (of any kind), as required by the FAA.
DZM reserves the right to decline flight or a particular drone maneuver in order to minimize risk to equipment. If it is necessary to
reschedule on the basis of flight conditions as deemed necessary by DZM, alternate times will be offered for flight, at no cost fo the customer.
Operation Locations:
DroneZone Michiana (DZM) primarily operates within the area shown (approximately 20 minute's drive from Bloomington, IN).
If you are outside of this location and wish to book with DZM, please call 574-329-2475 to submit your request. It may be more difficult
to honor your request, and it is more likely that DZM will have to charge a location and travel fee of $30 to accomodate your booking.
